At this point you might be asking yourself "Who is this guy" and "Why is he qualified to train me"? And if you're not, you should be! I guess my love for the health and fitness lifestyle started at a very young age. I can vividly remember my Dad always eating well and taking me to the gym with him. At age 56 now, his physique is a testament to the benefits of such healthy living and I have always strived to follow his example. If you don't believe me take a look at www.PhysiqueTransformation.com and look up Ric Rooney, you'll be blown away.
As for me, training for sports has always been a major motivating factor. I played competitive baseball, football, basketball, wrestling and tennis. I currently play for the Denver Rox, an amateur baseball team in Denver. The only thing that's changed is instead of training to become a professional athlete, I train to sustain and to help others achieve their goals through my experiences. I don't want to be the guy that's too tired to play with his kids. I don't want to be the guy that's more familiar with his doctor than his own family. We're talking preventative medicine people and trust me I take a heavy dose of it. Great
Jesse, I'm glad you like being healthy, most people do. What makes you
qualified to teach me? I'll be the first one to admit there are a lot
of people out there that claim to be health professionals and in all
honesty it's a bunch of . . . . . . well, you know. Some people think they're qualified because they lift weights or they have a six pack. I think proof is in the pudding. | Click To Enlarge |
Take a look at my clients under the "Success Stories" Tab. You simply can't argue with results. Don't be surprised if you catch me during a workout when you stroll through the studio. I practice what I preach. After all, I wouldn't want to be told by an out of shape trainer that I need to work harder.
| If you've ever looked for training before you know there's a ton of agencies that claim to be the best at certifying personal trainers. Do your homework, not all are created equal. My certifications come from: ACE or the American Council on Exercise, ISSA or International Sports Science Association and also CPR and AED certified. The bottom line is I love what I do. In all the things I've done throughout my life, I've never received the heartfelt letters and had people cry to me about how much this has changed their lives. |
In all honesty, I just give you the tools, a friendly kick in the rear and the confidence that there's someone behind you that won't let you down. I'm not a guy who just takes your money and pats you on the back because you showed up. You give me the effort I need and I'll get you the results you want!
